Brisbane City FC is thrilled to advise that we have secured Women’s National Premier League (NPL) and Girls SAP licences for the 2021 season and beyond.

We congratulate the other clubs also awarded this privilege and thank Football Queensland for their trust in Brisbane City FC to grow female football in Brisbane and open up further pathways for women and girls as we move toward the Women’s World Cup in 2023.

As you’re aware, City has been selected as a country host venue for the Women’s World Cup 2023 and we expect to cross the final hurdles on this status in the coming weeks. We are hopeful that this will kick off further significant infrastructure investment at City, with a main pitch and lighting replacement that will tie in with further major announcements in coming months.

We look forward to providing you with updates in due course.
