Sunday afternoon sees Brisbane City back in NPL action after a week off as they welcome Easts to Imperial Corp Stadium. This is the second visit to Imperial Corp Stadium for Easts this month after City won their Australia Cup preliminary Round 5 tie three weeks ago. City’s last NPL fixture was a tight 2-1 loss to 2022 Champions Gold Coast Knights, while Easts gave their season a major shot in the arm registering a 2-0 win up at Ballinger Park against the previously unbeaten Sunshine Coast Wanderers. City sit 6th in the league with 10 points from 6 matches while Easts follow in 9th place with 7 points.

The two sides met twice in league action last year, in the first meeting here at Imperial Corp Stadium it was the hosts who fought back from behind to take the points 2-1 courtesy of a late Daniel Bowles penalty. In the return match at Heath Park City recorded a more comfortable 4-1 win with Kye Bolton notching up a hat-trick including a superb solo effort starting inside his own half to open the scoring.

With the match being a double header with our undefeated FQPL Women also in action City are calling all supporters to come down for a super Sunday of football at Imperial Corp Stadium. The pizza ovens will be on and a full bar & canteen running, see you all there!
