Imperial Corp Stadium plays host to another big NPL matchup this Saturday as Brisbane City welcome Redlands United. Redlands recorded a significant 3-0 victory at Ballinger Park against Sunshine Coast Wanderers on Tuesday night to snap a 3 game losing streak and lift themselves to 8th on the NPL QLD ladder. City left it late last Sunday against Moreton Bay United to snatch a 2-2 draw despite dominating large parts of the encounter, the point however lifts them into 4th spot on the ladder after eight rounds.

Matt Thurtell continued his good goalscoring form in the NPL, finding the net again against Moreton Bay to take his tally to 6 goals so far this season. For Redlands Gui Santana netted twice on Tuesday night against Wanderers, his 4th and 5th goals of the campaign thus far to take him into third spot on the goalscorers charts, behind Thurtell & Marquez Walters of Moreton Bay. The last competitive meeting between these two sides actually came in the 2021 Australia Cup, when a youthful Brisbane City outfit claimed a 5-2 victory at the Redlands Showground.
