Brisbane City Football Club (BCFC), one of Queensland’s most historic and community driven football institutions, invites expressions of interest for the voluntary Board position of Director of Sponsorship.
As we continue to build on our proud legacy highlighted by our Gold Club License, elite junior academy, and recent triumphs such as the Women’s Senior Team securing both the NPLW Premiership and Grand Final titles in 2025, we are seeking a passionate and strategic leader to drive our sponsorship portfolio forward.
About the Role
The Director of Sponsorship will play a pivotal role in:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive sponsorship strategy aligned with the club’s vision and values.
- Identifying and securing new sponsorship opportunities to support the club’s programs and initiatives.
- Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with existing sponsors to ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborating with fellow Board members to integrate sponsorship efforts across all facets of the club.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an individual who:
- Possesses experience in sponsorship, marketing, business development, or related fields.
- Demonstrates strong networking and relationship building skills.
- Exhibits a deep understanding of the local business landscape and community engagement.
- Shares a genuine passion for football and community development.
Commitment
This is a voluntary Board position. The expected commitment includes attending monthly Board meetings, participating in club events, and dedicating time to sponsorship activities as needed.
