Brisbane City FC is proud to announce the appointment of Mirko Crociati as the Club’s Technical Director ahead of the 2026 season.
Mirko joined the club ahead of the 2025 season as Lead Coach of the Foundation Phase, and as part of the NPL Men’s squad, where he captained the group. His leadership on and off the field quickly earned the respect of players and staff alike.
Before his time in Australia, Mirko developed within the professional youth environments of Inter Milan FC and AC ChievoVerona, gaining valuable insight into elite football systems that now shape his approach as a coach and leader.
In his new role, Mirko will oversee the club’s technical direction across all male and female programs, guiding the implementation of Brisbane City’s football philosophy and ensuring alignment across all teams. He will also lead coach education and player development initiatives, reinforcing the club’s commitment to consistent, high-quality standards throughout its pathways.
“At Brisbane City, we believe that young players must be encouraged to dream big. It is this ambition that drives them forward and fosters belief in a brighter future. Turning those dreams into goals, and then following a clear process with consistent action, is how we would like to help those dreams become reality.
We are committed to supporting our players every step of the way as they strive to reach the next level. We are very fortunate to have a strong foundation built from a fantastic 2024 and an even better 2025. Now our journey for next year has already started, and we can’t wait for a wonderful 2026 season.”
With a strong foundation in place and a clear direction ahead, Mirko’s appointment marks another important step as Brisbane City FC continues to build one of Queensland’s leading football programs.
