Brisbane City FC is excited to confirm the signing of former A-League defender Corey Brown for the remainder of the 2025 National Premier League season.

A former City junior and proud Brisbane local, Corey returns to to the club with well over a decade of A-League experience under his belt, including 176 appearances for Brisbane Roar, where he was part of their 2013/14 double-winning side and claimed the club’s prestigious Gary Wilkins ‘Players’ Player’ Medal in 2016/17.

Having departed Roar after the conclusion of the 2024/25 A-League season, the addition of Corey to our squad marks his return to the club after over 15 years. His commitment to the game and connection to our community make him an invaluable addition as we strive for success throughout the remainder of the season.

“I’m not coming back just to end my career,” Brown told the club. “I’m here to win titles.”

“Myself and my family have some great history here at the club, so I’m really looking forward to coming back to Imperial Corp Stadium and playing in front of the home fans.”

Operating as a left back or centre back, Brown offers not just defensive stability but a strong attacking mindset.

Bringing elite-level standards, leadership, and a winning mentality, Corey adds significant power to City’s ambitions for 2025 and beyond.

Welcome home, Corey.
