Brisbane City FC is excited to announce the appointment of William Allen as the Club’s Head of Foundation (U8–U12) ahead of the 2026 season.
William will lead the Club’s foundation phase, managing the critical early years of player development where strong technical skills and a deep passion for the game are built. He will also oversee the club’s MYCITY Academy programs, providing elite training environments and a clear pathway for talented players to progress through Brisbane City’s football structure.
Having joined the Club in early 2025 as an Individual Player Development Coach, William quickly demonstrated his commitment to player growth and his ability to connect with young athletes. His holistic approach aligns closely with Brisbane City’s long-term vision of developing technically excellent, intelligent, and confident footballers.
“It is a privilege to be entrusted with such an important age group at such an influential club in Queensland. I am excited to collaborate with the internal and external staff, players, and families to ensure that the foundation phase program continues to grow and thrive. Ensuring that all our players who come into the club have a support pathway that embodies the values, standards, and DNA of Brisbane City Football Club on their individual footballing journey.”
William’s appointment further strengthens Brisbane City FC’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of footballers and building a clear, consistent pathway from grassroots to the top level.
